Although we’ve covered the differences in Seville’s seasons and helped you to answer the question, is Seville worth visiting? There are some differences in the months of each season, which can provide a unique experience when you visit.

January

In early January, you can still enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in Seville, particularly around January 5th and 6th. There is plenty of traditional food to sample and warming drinks. With cooler temperatures, nice winter sunshine, and blue skies, January is a pleasant time to see the city.

February

February has a more temperate climate, but since it is the low season, you can enjoy lower prices for accommodation and flights. In February, you can celebrate the Carnival of Seville with organized shows, street entertainment, unique music, and delicious food. Just bear in mind that February 28th is Andalucia Day, so many shops and businesses will be closed.

March

March marks the transition between winter and spring, offering a lovely climate for visiting Seville. The streets of the city are filled with the scent of jasmine, and gardens and parks throughout the city show signs of re-emerging from the cold weather. Consider visiting the Real Alcázar and other landmarks so you can explore the architecture and history along with the beautiful gardens.

April

April is a busy period in the Seville calendar, and tourists tend to flock to the city. You can expect lovely weather and two of the most significant events of the year: Easter week and the April fair. If you can tolerate crowds, April is a great time to explore the city’s culture.

May

May offers delightful weather to enjoy the Andalucian capital city. The gardens are filled with flowers, and you can stroll the streets, enjoying the shade of the trees if it starts to get a little warm. In May, the bars on the riverbank districts reopen, and you can even try a river cruise to enjoy a different perspective of the city.

June

The temperatures start to rise in June, but the city is still lively. It is a good idea to avoid being out during the hottest hours of the day, but you can enjoy a pleasant morning exploration of the city or an afternoon stroll in the park. June is also the perfect time to see the traditional clothing in Spain at a Flamenco show

July

July temperatures tend to be high, and most locals will head to the Huelva coast. If you’re visiting the city, you’ll need to adjust your timetable to stay inside between 12 pm and 7 pm. This means you can sightsee in the morning and then enjoy the pleasant atmosphere after sunset with drinks and tapas.

August

August tends to be swelteringly hot, but if you visit in the hottest month, you can remain refreshed at the local waterparks. Seville province has two famous waterparks packed with sleds, wave pools, and more. The Isla Magica park even has an artificial beach. So, make sure that you pack plenty of swim gear.

October

The October climate offers sunny days and mild temperatures, which make it ideal to visit Seville. If you enjoy nature, you can walk the Sierra Norte Natural Park to discover the fantastic wildlife, geological features, and inspiring landscapes. Just be sure to pack a light jacket for the occasional rain shower.

November
